New to the Foodservice sector, the team at Pacific West, have launched two market leading value added prawns – Bamboo Charcoal Kuro Prawns plus magnificent vibrant Red Velvet Prawns. These large coated Prawns certainly add a dramatic look to any menu, with their high impact panko crumb finish and colourful look, they are as stunning on the plate as they are to eat!
Whilst the more traditional products in our range such as Panko King Prawns & Tempura Torpedo Prawns remain a firm favourite across all sectors of the Foodservice spectrum. The drive for innovation was recognised in 2016 when Pacific West were awarded by the BFFF the prestigious award of Best Foodservice Product of the Year for our Coconut Prawn Skewers. In 2017 the BFFF awarded silver in the Best New Starter/Buffet/Appetiser category to the frozen Raw Slipper Lobsters.
However, our greatest accolade to date was winning the prestigious ‘Global Innovation Award’ at the Seafood Expo in Brussels in April 2017.
