BigFish Brand has unveiled six new, ultra-convenient breaded salmon products. Made with premium salmon fillet and coated in great tasting golden crumb, the range offers salmon in both bites and goujons with plain and also two flavoured breadcrumbs: Lemon & Pepper and Chilli & Lime.
The range is aimed squarely at boosting the role of seafood in the popular and fast growing breaded product market.
Louise Coulbeck, joint founder and director of JCS Fish, the family firm which produces BigFish Brand, says; “These new Bites and Goujons perfectly answer a clear consumer need. Seafood is currently playing catch-up to chicken, which has seen substantial growth in coated bite-size, fillet or mini finger type products. Plus more adults are eating fish fingers than ever before (+6.4% value/+4% vol)[i] because seafood offers so few alternatives in this area. This suggests a major opportunity for this new range.”
All the BigFish Brand products cook from frozen in minutes (oven, grill or fry), making them ideal for lunches, midweek meals or fast suppers, including for kids.

BigFish Brand has more than doubled its retail sales over the past 12 months, achieving 117% growth in volume (1 September 2016 – 31 August 2017).
The BigFish Brand Breaded range is available from JCS Fish now with retail listings expected by November.
