It is becoming clear the EU single market does not act as a single market when trying to export products through the various Border Control Points (BCPs).
In addition to the variations on requirements for the way some documentation is presented there are no common opening hours for BCPs.
We have been made aware that over the forthcoming Easter period whilst the French port of Calais will be open over the holiday period, the Dutch BCPs will have variable opening hours.
We would recommend all members cross-check when BCPs are open and closed to ensure the minimum of delay in getting product through them.
