I would like to request that members keep us informed of the issues they are now facing following the end of the Brexit Transition Period.
We are aware there are a range of issues from the Movement of Goods, Getting EHC’s, Vets, Customs Brokers, Delays on Vehicles and so on.
Many members are also seeing major impacts with the Rules of Origin, meaning that many products now being exported to the EU (Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland) now attract tariffs.
It is important for members to keep the Federation up to date on the issues you are facing. We are in continual contact with Government Departments, so we have the opportunity on a daily basis to raise these issues for members. However, we can only do this if we have the detail – this is really important because the message we have from Defra is ‘everything is working’ – which it is clearly not.
