
There appears to be a lot of confusion about creating Export Health Certificates (EHC) to support the movement of composite products containing POAO into the EU. This relates mostly to products that move into ROI. Under the current EU rules the level of detail required would mean many hours spent into completing paperwork. Prior to the Christmas break a test on a chilled 4 Cheese Pasta Bake failed the required detail by the Irish Authorities. We are aware that there will be further dialogue between the UK and Irish Veterinary bodies on 30 December to find a work able compromise. We will keep members updated.
