The Federation has lent its support to a letter sent to Prime Minister Boris Johnson urging that the UK Government to strike a favourable bilateral trade agreement with Greenland, prior to the end of the Brexit Transition period. Greenland is an important source of supply for the UK, including the importation of frozen cod, haddock, and cold-water prawns. The UK is also an important market for Greenland accounting for more than 10% of their total exports, and the country is keen to find an agreement with us. The letter was supported by over 20 other trade bodies, and a copy can be found by following this link: Letter to the Prime Minister
