In the run up to the end of the transition period, along with the wealth of information available on the BFFF website, we would like to remind members of another valuable source of information available to them.
The EU Exit Food Hub aims to provide a central source of information for agri-food businesses, drawn from official UK and EU guidance on what will happen when the “business as usual” transition period under the Withdrawal Agreement expires on 31 December 2020.
Run by a range of food industry partner organisations on a voluntary and collaborative basis, it is continually being updated to reflect most recent information.
Should you have any queries relating to EU exit, we would highly recommend you check this Hub as you will find many useful Q&A’s in the areas such as export, import, transport, labelling and workforce.
We would also encourage you to share the link to The EU Exit Food Hub within your networks.
Please note, negotiations on the UK’s future relationship with the EU are, however, still taking place, with several important issues unresolved. The site (including the lists of Frequently Asked Questions) will be updated in real time as soon as further clarification is available.
