The BFFF have been asked by colleagues within the FSA’s Imports and Exports Strategy Team to assist in relation to certain registered distribution centres (RDCs) that may now need to provide information to the FSA to allow them to export products of animal origin (POAO) to either the EU or Northern Ireland after the transition period ends.

Any local authority registered RDC, who operates temperature-controlled storage and distribution as part of a single supply chain, should contact the FSA by 30th November at the very latest with the information as outlined here

Please read the instructions on the letter thoroughly. We are assured that it is a very simple process, but if you do have any queries do not hesitate to contact the team directly on eulistings@food.gov.uk
