We would like to remind members about the NI-GB Food Supply Chain Forum which is for all businesses within the agri-food supply chain who are moving goods between Great Britain (GB) and Northern Ireland (NI).
The forum currently meets at 9am sharp every week for 30 minutes and brings together businesses and public-sector and governmental partners from across the agri-food supply chain. It aims to ensure the open communication of relevant policy and delivery developments associated with movements into and from NI with a focus on operational implementation issues.
Each week attendees hear from a range of Government and industry speakers on issues pertaining to GB-NI trade and can field questions to Defra and other Government departments via Slido in the meeting or a dedicated forum mailbox.
Relevant information from the meetings is published on a ‘NI-GB Food Supply Chain Forum Showcase’ Dropbox including answers to questions raised by attendees.
The latest Q&A’s from this forum can now be viewed here
As you will see the questions are varied and whilst we will do our best to highlight key information to you, to ensure you have access to the very latest updates we would recommend you register to attend the forum yourself by using this link.
Please feel free to share this invite with any other businesses or organisations you think should be part of the NI-GB Food Supply Chain Forum community.
