We would like to remind members that Defra have recently published a Reminder of requirements for hospitality sector traders, This document guides you through the 10 steps as shown below, that traders need to follow to ensure their goods can successfully move from GB to NI:
- Sign up for the Trader Support Service
- Contact the Movement Assistance Scheme
- Ensure you have your EORI number
- Check the approved establishments list
- Check the Health and ID mark requirements
- Check labelling requirements
- Check marketing requirements standards
- Check your NI point of entry
- Complete export health and phytosanitary certificates
- Pre-notify DAERA about arrival of your goods
