
On Wednesday, 27th January 2021, the Federation took part in a webinar organised by the Cabinet Office. This provided a comprehensive overview of Moving Goods between GB and Holland/Belgium.
There were a range of speakers from Defra, HMRC, Dutch and Belgium agencies. We are now able to share the slides that were used on the webinar an these can be accessed here. The event was also recorded, and we hope to be able to share the recording on the next Weekly Email.
However, the one key theme from the Dutch and Belgium agencies was that they are seeing too much paperwork with mistakes. It is vital that information is consistent across all of the documents that now have to be provided and that all loads, especially SPS products, are pre-notified to ensure they have a booking with the control points.
