The Joint Biosecurity Centre (JBC) has developed Action Cards, featuring the latest advice on how to identify, manage and report a COVID-19 outbreak. The cards are designed as a useful visual checklist for operational teams in businesses and other organisations and bring together guidance and useful contacts to support your organisation’s planning.

Action cards have been categorised into the following areas:

  • Small and large gatherings
  • Residential workplaces
  • Consumer workplaces
  • Commercial workplaces
  • Education
  • Food and Drink
  • Industrial workplaces
  • Institutions
  • Travel

The Action Cards are designed to be printed or downloaded to keep on-hand in your business or organisation. Within each ZIP folder you will find a number of relevant action cards, for example:

Under the category of Food and Drink:

  • Food delivery, food to go and mobile catering
  • Food truck, kiosks, stands and open-air markets
  • Food contract catering
  • Restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes or takeaways

Under the category of Industrial Workplaces:

  • Construction and outdoor work
  • Laboratory and research facilities
  • Manufacturing of food and other large processing plants
  • Working in factories, plants, warehouses and waste management and storage sites

Please note these are cleared for use in England only.
