As members will be aware the Federation has been lobbying Government to provide direct support to the supply chain for Food Service.

Despite our pressure the Chancellor did not provide any direct additional support in the recent Budget for our many members impacted by the closure of the Food Service Market. The Chancellor did, however, announce another £425m for the Additional Restrictions Grant Fund.

Members who wish to apply, or even re-apply, for grants under this scheme can find details by following this link.

One concern is that the fund is discretionary, and we have seen some members receive funding whilst others have received nothing.

If members are having issues, in accessing support from this fund, please advise the Federation and we will highlight the issues to Government.
