Craft Guild of Chefs Awards Aviko Mini Gratins

Aviko’s new Mini Gratins with Parsnip & Jerusalem Artichoke and Mini Gratins with Asparagus & Parmesan have been awarded with an endorsement from the Craft Guild of Chefs – a testament to the consistently high quality they offer.

Following in the footsteps of Aviko’s Mash, Roast Potatoes and Cream & Cheese Gratins; the newly endorsed products offer caterers hassle-free premium sides which can be served up within minutes meaning operators are able to focus on other elements of their menu. Their superior long holding time – in excess of one hour – also makes them perfect for banqueting menus.

Tested by chefs throughout the foodservice market, the Mini Gratins with Parsnip & Jerusalem Artichoke – made with specially selected potatoes, real cream, French Emmentaler cheese, chives, parsley and chervil – and the Mini Gratins with Parmesan and Asparagus – made with fresh cream and lemon juice – were found to be “very tasty” with “lots of flavour”. It was also noted that they are “very easy to prepare”.
