CREED FOODSERVICE HOSTS ANNUAL INNOVATION DAY FOR CHEFS
One of the most anticipated events in the calendar for chefs in pub, hotels, restaurants, care home, schools and businesses is the annual Creed Foodservice Trade Show which this year is being held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern on 16 September.
A must-attend event for chefs and caterers and with a big focus on catering for Christmas, the event will feature almost 100 of Creed’s suppliers as well as showcasing higher welfare meats available from Creed’s own butchery, seasonal fresh produce and new products for the festive season. There will be more than 300 special price deals available on the day too to assist caterers with planning their menus. Chefs will also have the chance to win superb prizes such as spa days and 4×4 driving experiences in the prize draw.
Live cookery demonstrations will take place throughout the event to inspire chefs and catering managers looking for innovative ideas to make Christmas catering inspiring for their customers as well as profitable for their business.
A chef from EBLEX Quality Standard Mark Scheme for lamb and beef will be cooking off quality meats and discussing the importance of higher welfare meats with Creed’s own Development Chef Rob Owen. Rob will also be cooking an ultimate Beef Wellington – a modern take for Christmas catering of the classic dinner party dish- using Creed’s premium Red Tractor accredited beef fillets.
With Christmas buffets in mind, HB Ingredients will be showing the versatility of its savoury and sweet canapé cups with ideas for various new fillings to help caterers create profitable menu options.
As well as the ‘profit sector’, demonstrations will also be held for the ‘cost sector’ such as schools, and care homes. Chefs from well-known brand Nestle will be demonstrating how three dishes can be created using its products, while for the care sector specifically, Premier Foods will be preparing foods for dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing) diets and showing how caterers can provide meals that enable residents to ‘dine with dignity’.
Creed has also joined forces with Malvern-based Morgan Car Company to offer a free Morgan driving experience.
Entry to the Creed Trade Show running at Malvern Three Counties Showground is free, but this is a catering trade only event. Register now by contacting your sales representative, alternatively email marketing@creedfoodservice.co.uk or call 01452 858183
