Mental Health Awareness Course
Who should attend the virtual Mental Health Awareness Course?
Anyone/everyone can attend a Mental Health Aware course.
The course is a great tool to gain a wider understanding of mental health within the workplace and to break down stigma.
The course is most effective when used alongside a Mental Health First Aider network within your organisation that have developed more in-depth skills and knowledge to best support someone in times of distress.
Learn how to spot signs and symptoms of mental ill health in your team
A half day introduction course to raise awareness of mental ill health, teaching delegates what mental health is, introducing the most common mental health conditions and how we can spot signs and symptoms that someone close to us may be becoming unwell.
The course follows MHFAs Take 10 Together framework to increase delegates confidence to have a supportive conversation and signpost an individual to further professional help if needed.
The course helps to raise awareness and tackle the stigma associated with mental ill health; Delegates will gain a greater understanding of the importance of their own self-care to promote positive well being.
