The new site offers clearer browsing for the product ranges, the channels Farm Frites supports and offers more insight into the company’s 45 year history – 25 of which have been shared by the UK side of the business.
“We have created a website which not only works harder for us but offers much more to our customers in terms of product inspiration,” explains Nic Townsend, marketing manager UK & Ireland, Farm Frites. “We want to be able to offer greater support to our customers by clearly displaying product lines, matching ranges to different types of operator and, in doing this, helping reduce preparation time and wastage.”
The new web functionality allows visitors to search for products by type, by dining category and by practical demands such as allergen-free and preparation or storage type. The layout is designed to inspire new menu choices for operators and offers advice on portion control and serving options.
The new website also offers an insight into Farm Frites’ sustainable potato cultivation – a process controlled from seed to harvest with a network of growers to ensure the best yield possible goes through to manufacturing.
“Farm Frites isn’t just about the people the company employs, it includes the many farmers we work with all year round who help us to create quality products. It’s a great story to tell and offers our customer a more rounded idea of who we are and how we operate.
