Food industry experts host business events
Leading food and drink industry law firm, Roythornes, are set to host two free events designed to bring leaders in the food business community together.
The first, run in conjunction with The Food and Drink Exporters Association (FDEA), is designed for those with a growing interest in the export market.
Featuring talks from Roythornes’ Peter Bennett and the FDEA’s Nicola Thomas, the event looks at finding agents and distributors you can trust, building sustainable and profitable sales and ensuring you don’t get tied in knots with paperwork or legislation. It will also feature a presentation from David Wagstaff, COO of the Happy Egg Co USA.
The event, “Optimising Your International Sales Network”, takes place at the Kingsgate Conference Centre, Peterborough, on November 3.
The second event, “The Food Business Breakfast”, takes place on November 24, also at the Kingsgate Conference Centre, between 7.30am and 9.15am. This popular event focuses on building food sector contacts and brings together a wide range of people associated with the sector.
Previous events have proved extremely popular and this month’s gathering will feature a talk from M&C Allegra Executive Director, Simon Stenning, on key industry trends in the ‘eating out’ sector, future growth areas and business insight.
Peter Bennett, head of food and drink at Roythornes, said: “We’re very excited to host these two fantastic events.
“Both are ideal opportunities for networking for all food professionals and are ideal for making new contacts, exploring new business possibilities, exchanging information and discussing industry trends.”
Both events are free but places are limited so please register online.
