
FROZEN TOP TIPS VIDEO SERIES
The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF), has launched a series of short videos to demonstrate how using frozen food can cut preparation time and food waste in professional kitchens.
BFFF teamed up with Lee Maycock, newly appointed Craft Guild of Chefs chairman, to produce the Frozen Food Shortcuts videos, highlighting the benefits of frozen food in professional kitchens.
The series of eight videos provide a resource for chefs looking for insightful hints and tips designed to not only enhance their preparation and cooking, but to also help them produce delicious, on-trend food, easily and cost effectively
Each video lasts between 30 seconds and three minutes and shows how frozen ingredients can provide an array of benefits for chefs and caterers.
Brian Young, chief executive of BFFF, said: “This new series of Frozen Food Shortcut videos really emphasises how frozen food can be a great resource for those working in the foodservice industry.
“Being able to work with an experienced and well-respected chef such as Lee Maycock gives the Frozen Food Shortcut videos added credibility.”
The series of eight videos provides five top frozen food tips for chefs, as well as three recipe videos that highlight the great-taste and versatility of frozen food.
The Frozen Food Shortcut videos focus on specific frozen ingredients and ways they can be used to benefit chefs, which fresh alternatives may not be able to offer in the same, convenient way.
