Simon has been asked to speak at the EM Councils 5+1 event taking place in February; this event provides Environmental Health Officers with training, and on this occasion an insight into the work completed by a trade association.

Officers will gain CPD points on a range of topics such as Environmental, Health & Safety, Licensing, Food Safety and Legal disciplines.
Attended by around 200 EHO’s from around the East Midlands, Simon is delivering the session on behalf of the BFFF from a Health & Safety perspective, to demonstrate how members within the frozen sector benefit from the help, support, guidance, and events provided by BFFF.
Simon adds: ‘companies benefit from membership, whether it’s answering a member query, supplying industry level guidance or benchmarking accident data with member companies, the federation really does create an environment for continuous improvement for any organisation’
