On 5 January 2016 responsibility for fire and rescue policy transferred from the Department for Communities and Local Government to the Home Office.
This collection of Guidance brings together all documents relating to fire safety law and guidance documents for businesses.

Fire safety law changed in October 2006 with the introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
