HSE are looking for participants to help understand COVID-19 virus transmission risk, by studying physical interactions in the workplace.
The Wear-It Study, part of the PROTECT COVID-19 National Core Study, aims to collate and generate highly detailed data on workers’ interactions to support national efforts to better understand and control the risk of transmission of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus which causes COVID-19).
To that effect, small wearable proximity devices will be provided to willing workers at participating workplaces to generate the quality contact data which is needed but is currently lacking. Small static beacons will also be deployed in the workplace to provide an indication of the location of these contacts. Workplaces of interest include food and drinks manufacturing, warehouses and distribution centres, general manufacturing sites and large offices. Your help is needed
