RETURN OF THE BUTCHER, THE BAKER, THE REAL PIE-MAKER – HOLLAND’S PIES ‘BACK ON ITV’
Holland’s Pies celebrate their roots and long history with the return of their popular TV advertising campaign – The Butcher, the Baker, the Real Pie-Maker. The adverts sign off with the slogan “Lancashire’s finest since 1851,” and the comment “Microwave or Oven-Bake.”
The campaign breaks across Granada, Yorkshire and Tyne-Tees ITV stations from w/c October 19 around programmes ranging from Downton Abbey, X Factor AND Coronation Street.
“The heart warming adverts show Holland’s pies being enjoyed in three typical customer environments, ” commented Bill Smith-Coats, Sales and Marketing Director.
“There’s a young lad fresh back from a charity run in a gorilla suit and understandably looking for a nourishing pie; a father and daughter on their way home from the match and a youngster sat at table waiting for mum to feed him pie and mash.
“All of these ads really resonated with our target consumers and we’ve just up-dated them to reflect our new Creamy Chicken Puddings.”
The Butcher, the Baker, the Real Pie-Maker reflect the values that have made Holland’s one of the UK’s leading pie-makers with a range of delicious pies and puddings. Holland’s ranges are available in chip shops, convenience stores and football stadiums across the UK.
This is the biggest investment in television support that the brand has been involved with throughout its history and comes at the start of the traditional pie-eating season.
