Internal Business Development Admin

Role Description

  • Using our in house data whilst also generating your own leads to call new and potential customers to introduce our products and services
  • Arranging qualified meetings for our on the road sales team and ensuring that meetings are followed up and feedback communicated internally
  • Arranging customer product samples and ensuring that feedback is received
  • Keeping files ,contact information and customer pricing up to date and ensuring that new information is shared to all appropriate teams
  • Making account managers aware of any issues
  • Working with customers to ensure we have up to date sale forecasts and share internally within the business to keep buying schedules up to date
  • Suggesting ideas for promotions in line with stock holding
  • Processing & uploading orders, accurately and in a timely manner in line with order cut off times
  • Telephone and email communication with customers; regarding orders, delivery information, customer queries
  • Working as a team with colleagues to help manage customer accounts.
  • working alongside our logistics teams to ensure deliveries are made on the correct dates and advising of any issues directly to the customer
  • Chasing outstanding debts to keep customers in line with credit terms
  • Other associated general admin tasks assisting were needed with colleagues both in the UK office and Dutch office where needed.
