About the Role
This role is all about growing sustainable sales and business. You will utilise your experience in managing bakeries, food manufacturers and foodservice customers to grow your book of business in South Wales. You will focus on customer relationships and service levels and ensure any issues are dealt with quickly or before they become an issue in the first place. You will launch new products and promotions to customers to drive commercial performance. You will plan and budget effectively to outline and deliver customer plans. You will drive market penetration and make the most of any opportunities in the market. You will make the most of your time through effective route planning and call cycling, prioritising customers where required.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing sales and delivering new business in the food sector. You will have exposure to a variety of food customers and ideally have experience in food ingredients. You will be able to communicate effectively and be able to deal with a variety of stakeholders, from small business owners to bigger corporate buyers. You will be based in the north of Wales and have knowledge of the local area, bakeries, food manufacturers and foodservice outlets. You will be organised and able to plan effectively. You will be driven by KPI’s and delivering YOY account growth.
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience as a salesperson in the food industry – B2B, Foodservice, Food manufacturing etc.
The successful applicant will move through a two-stage interview process. The first will be via online conference and the second will be a face-to-face meeting and will include a presentation. Our client is committed to making this appointment ASAP
