About Our Client

We are currently working with one of the UK’s largest and most successful Fresh Produce growers. They are a incredibly progressive and innovative business who take a highly sustainable approach to large scale food growing.

About the Job

As one of a team of Multi-Skilled Engineers, this role is key in assisting the Operations teams in achieving maximum productivity by minimising downtime through plant maintenance, repairs and improvement. Supports ongoing building maintenance to ensure the site remains a safe operating environment which meets the needs of the people working here.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a multi-skilled engineer with an electrical biased however don’t be put off applying if you are mechanically biased, just be aware you may not be the preference! You will come from some kind of FMCG manufacturing background ideally withing food or fresh produce but not essential.
What is essential is that you are a people person and enjoy interacting with people in your team and across the whole production. It is highly desirable that you come with some knowledge or experience of Lean/Six Sigma and or CI project work.
