Oakland International Director Honoured to Join Finalists at Women in Logistics UK Awards

Miss McIntosh commented: “Joining the other finalists and meeting so many inspirational women working within this industry was a privilege and honour.”

Women in Logistics UK encourage women working within the logistics industry by providing mentoring and facilitating opportunities to link and join with others to discuss industry trends. The awards evening also helped raise much needed funds to support the work of Transaid, a charity which identifies, champions, shares and implements local transport solutions to aid and  improve access to basic services and economic opportunity for underprivileged people in developing countries and Africa.

Miss McIntosh added: “As Director of an award winning ethical family business, recognised as a top 100 local employer and amongst the top 1000 companies to Inspire Britain, being chosen as a finalist is positive acknowledgement of Oakland’s enlightened and inclusive culture.”
