Speciality Breads Launches Frozen Dough Range

Red Tractor-certified baker Speciality Breads is going against the grain with its latest launch by rolling out its first ever range of first class frozen doughs.

The first products to be launched by the artisan baker include a trio of large 470g dough mixes in white, brown and multigrain formats, which when baked, produce a 400g loaf.

Driving kitchen and menu creativity, each new dough can be personalized with toppings such as poppy seeds or sesame seeds and easily cut to specific sizes to suit certain dishes and occasions.

Simple and easy to use, the new products just need to be defrosted in a refrigerator overnight before being proved, shaped and then baked in an oven at 200°C for approx. 25-35 minutes.

Made using the same high-quality ingredients used in the company’s award winning frozen breads, not only do the new frozen doughs guarantee that much-loved Speciality Breads’ flavour and taste, but their versatility enables chefs to stay ahead of the latest trends and can also help them alleviate waste.

Simon Cannell, MD of Speciality Breads, said:

“For many chefs and consumers alike, in-house freshly baked bread is the pinnacle of foodie heaven but for many kitchens, a lack of space, equipment, time and resources can make it difficult to produce great breads consistently and to high standards. Our new range of frozen doughs is the perfect solution for these operators as they enable chefs from a range of sectors and from kitchens of all sizes to craft their own bespoke breads day in, day out. You could literally serve a different looking bread every day of the week using the same base dough piece. The only limit is their own imagination!”

To make things easier, Speciality Breads have even published a video on YouTube showing how easy the doughs are to use. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjMWxW9IAD8
