The deadline for employers to apply for the £3,000 incentive payment for hiring a new apprentice has been extended to the 20th May 2022.
If a company employed a new apprentice between 1 October 2021 and 31 January 2022 and the apprentice started their apprenticeship between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022, then the company could be eligible for the £3,000 incentive payment.
Applications for the incentive payment close on 20 May 2022.
To receive the payment, employers must submit an application for each eligible apprentice using their apprenticeship service account.
