WRAP have announced their third Food Waste Action Week (FWAW) will take place 6-12 March 2023, with the theme ‘Win. Don’t Bin’.

The aim of the week is to demonstrate how valuable food is in our lives, how it unites people and how using up everything we buy saves money, time and the planet.

The campaign also aims to increase citizen’s confidence in ‘using up leftovers’ by promoting a range of skills that can be easily adopted but potentially have the greatest impact on reducing food waste in the home.

During the 2022 campaign, WRAP had support from 80 organisations across 12 countries, seeing it go international for the first time.

There are a number of ways to get involved in 2023 and support the ‘Win. Don’t Bin’ campaign, through direct sponsorship, running events and PR, and through helping to spread the campaign’s key messages across your own networks.

Download the Food Waste Action Week Partner Pack to start planning how you can get involved.

A toolkit with assets to download and use will be available in January 2023.

If you are interested in supporting Food Waste Action Week, please get in touch at lfhw@wrap.org.uk.
