The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) is pleased to welcome Matthew Waldeck, Head of Client Solutions at Ambrey Baker Industrial Solutions, as a member of the BFFF Young Leaders Forum.
Launched in 2020, the BFFF Young Leaders Forum brings together emerging professionals from across the frozen food industry, providing opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, professional development and collaboration on initiatives that support the wider sector.
Matthew joins the forum with a wealth of experience from his role at Ambrey Baker Industrial Solutions, a specialist consultancy and principal contractor delivering construction, refurbishment and fit-out projects for food manufacturing, temperature-controlled storage, logistics and industrial environments.
As Head of Client Solutions, Matthew works closely with clients to develop tailored solutions that support operational efficiency, business growth and long-term success. His expertise in industrial construction and infrastructure brings a valuable perspective to the forum, particularly as the frozen food sector continues to invest in modern facilities and sustainable operations.
Alongside his professional career, Matthew serves as a District Councillor at North Kesteven District Council. This role has given him extensive insight into local economies, planning, skills development and community priorities, helping to shape his understanding of responsible business practices and corporate social responsibility.
Speaking about joining the forum, Matthew said:
“I am delighted to be joining the BFFF Young Leaders Forum and look forward to connecting with professionals from across the frozen food industry. The forum presents a fantastic opportunity to share ideas, learn from industry experts and contribute to discussions that will help shape the future of the sector. I am excited to represent Ambrey Baker Industrial Solutions and bring a construction and infrastructure perspective to the group.”
The BFFF Young Leaders Forum provides members with access to industry-leading speakers, site visits, networking opportunities and peer-to-peer learning, helping to develop the next generation of leaders within the frozen food industry.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys skiing, scuba diving and performing, reflecting his enthusiasm for embracing new challenges both professionally and personally.
