Chalcroft to host seminar at TCS&D Show

Specialist construction company, Chalcroft will host a seminar at this year’s Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution (TCS&D) Show in Peterborough this September.

The TCS&D Show is a biannual trade fair for frozen and chilled supply chain professionals and this year, offers an education-led seminar programme focusing on the challenges facing the sector, with valuable insight, case studies and question and answer sessions. Chalcroft was invited by the exhibition’s organisers to host a seminar following its successful partnership with Ardo UK, where Chalcroft completed a new cold store facility for the frozen fruit and vegetable specialist.

Chalcroft’s session will be co-presented with Ardo UK and will discuss the keys to successful coldstore construction. Mark Reeve, Managing Director of Chalcroft, and Jon Barnes, Supply Chain & Inventory Director at Ardo UK will present a case study on the phased construction of the 9,700m² coldstore in Kent, and will highlight significant considerations in planning and managing the build.

In addition to the seminar, Chalcroft is sponsoring the Coldstore Manager of the Year award, which will be presented at the show. The award celebrates individuals who help transform operations and have an excellent record in coldstore management. Chalcroft will be showcasing their portfolio of chill and cold food storage and distribution facilities on stand G1, from simple refurbishment and fit-out, to multi-million pound high-care factories.

Chalcroft and Ardo UK will be presenting their seminar at 12.15pm on Wednesday 16th September.
