The BFFF Young Leaders’ Forum purpose is to develop passionate individuals by providing them with opportunities for industry experiences and networking. The form also provides the leaders of tomorrow with the opportunity for collaborating with peers, sharing experiences, and discussing challenges our industry is facing.

So far this year, the forum had the pleasure of:

  • Learning about Ardo’s fascinating fruit processing
  • Visiting Billington Foods to see how they make their delicious pies
  • Experiencing the process of field to fork with Greenyard Frozen’s pea harvesting at Dyson Farming
  • Taking a trip to Whitby, the home of Scampi, to find out how they source and coat their tasty langoustines.

To round up this year’s fascinating visits, we will be getting together virtually to hear from Charles Banks, Co-Founder of The Food People for an update on their 2023/24 Trends Report.

The forum is led by Holly Jones (hollyjones@bfff.co.uk) and Harry Hinks (harryhinks@bfff.co.uk), who are keen to welcome more BFFF members to the group. If you think you or a colleague, who are aged between 18 and (circa) 30, could benefit from being part of the forum, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to find out more information.
