We continue to explore connections with companies to support members faced with logistics issues arising from Brexit. Groupage continues to be a major challenge due to the complexity of the process especially around POAO and High-Risk goods.
Roswell Spedition GMBH is a long-term member of the BFFF who can support members in transporting POAO and High-Risk goods to most points in Europe. We are currently preparing more information on the services offered by Roswell and will update members shortly.
New member Unsworth is a custom broker offering a range of services from full loads to groupage with the capability to offer a total service from end to end.
To date members have had to only contend with new rules when exporting but as
new rules to come into force from 1st October on goods coming into the UK from the EU, it is vital members are well prepared for even more change.
Charles Hogg of Unsworth will join us for a webinar on 17th August to explore the processes now required to export effectively into the EU, and to discuss the new processes all members will face in importing products from the EU from 1st October this year.
