As the temperatures start to plummet BFFF reminds its members of the guidance available to protect its employees both in the workplace and on the roads.

The HSE reiterates the increase in slips and trips during the winter months with effective actions that can be taken in their guidance below:

On the Roads
ROSPA also reiterates a similar story for road traffic collisions, based on 2022 statistics 14 people were killed and 379 seriously injured with 1227 other injuries on Great Britain’s roads when there was rain, snow, sleet or foggy conditions.
