Welcome to the British Frozen Food Federation Virtual Technical Conference, 4th March 2021
The first speaker of the day, for Module 1, will be joined by an allergy influencer who is going to present about living with allergies even through a pandemic. The BFFF will then be joined by Spoon Guru who will be talking about the point of use analysis techniques/AI and the consumer. The final speaker of Module 1 is from Dine Pilot and they will be covering food information you can trust, and at the end of the module the BFFF tech team will host a live discussion panel to cover any questions asked throughout the module presentations.
After a short break, the Technical Conference will recommence with Trade Interchange who will cover Artificial Intelligence - managing risk in the supply chain. The next module 2 speaker is from Fera Science Ltd and covering Emerging Technologies and whether or not they can be trusted. The final speaker of module 2 is from the National Cyber Security Centre talking about Cyber Crime and, like Module 1, the BFFF will host a live discussion panel to cover any questions asked throughout the module 2 presentations.
The final module of the day will begin with a presentation from the European Recycling Platform (ERP) and will cover the producer responsibility, recycling, sustainability and alternative packaging materials. The second speaker joins the BFFF from WRAP and will cover food waste and the penultimate speaker of the module is all about Giving Food to Good Causes which will cover an exceptiona case study from Fareshare and Greenyard Frozen. The final speaker of the day will be a message from the UK Government's Food Surplus and Waste Champion, Ben Elliott.
