Oakland International Director Joins Finalists at FTA Everywoman Transport & Logistics Awards

oaklandinternational_Lynsey_McIntoshOakland International Operations Director, Lynsey McIntosh was delighted to join finalists at the FTA everywoman in Transport & Logistics Awards in London on Thursday 26th May 2016.

Acknowledging women working within the transport and logistics industry, the awards celebrate outstanding role models and the contribution they have made to the sector, whilst helping to promote career opportunities existing across the industry.

Lynsey commented: “I was delighted to be a finalist for such a prestigious award, and it was a huge honour to meet so many positive and inspiring women working within this industry. There is still a gender imbalance within the logistics sector, so encouraging diversity is key and as a Director of a multi award winning ethical family business, recognised as a top 100 local employer and amongst the top 1000 companies to Inspire Britain, being chosen as a finalist is positive testament to Oakland’s progressive and inclusive culture.”
