JCS FISH CELEBRATES ‘A GRADE’ ACHIEVEMENT

Some of the team at JCS Fish are pictured celebrating BRC A Grade at a barbecue lunch which the company held at its Grimsby docks factory to thank staff for their contribution to the achievement.

Grimsby salmon specialist, JCS Fish, is this month celebrating its achievement of certification to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) A Grade – the international ‘gold standard’ for safety and quality standards.

BRC Global Standards is an independently audited safety and quality certification program used by over 22,000 certificated food suppliers in 123 countries.

Director Louise Coulbeck said, “Achieving BRC A Grade is a particularly big achievement for a smaller business like ours.  It means we can prove to our customers that we are maintaining the very highest standards of safety, quality and legal compliance.

“We are delighted and proud of our achievement.  BRC A Grade is one of the key tools to our future growth plans as it demonstrates that we have the right facilities meet the needs of bigger customers.”
