Kara bolsters fruit teacake range with launch of new premium offering

Kara, the foodservice specialist of the Finsbury Food Group, has announced the launch of a new premium option to join its fruit teacake range. The new product contains a number of enhancements in taste, aroma and aesthetic to improve the overall dining experience for consumers and boost Kara’s current fruit teacake offering.

The Premium Fruit Teacake contains double the amount of mixed fruit in each batch, giving every teacake more exciting and appetising visual appeal. The extra fruit mix contains, currants, raisins, orange and lemon peel; perfect for delivering extra citrus flavours and a more exotic aroma when toasting.

Jane Deegan, Marketing Manager at Kara, said:

“We’re constantly seeking new ways in which we can enhance our ranges and adding a premium option to our teacake selection seemed like a natural choice. The aim with this product was to pack much more flavour, texture and scent into the teacake to delight diners. We’re thrilled with the result!”

Kara’s existing fruit teacake range includes a traditional option of white sweetened bread cake with added sultanas, raisins and currants and also a spiced option that has fruit with an added blend of warm spices and brown sugar. All products in the range are best enjoyed toasted with a light helping of butter.

The Premium teacakes are delivered in packs of four and are unsliced. To find out more about how you can stock these teacakes, please visit: https://karafs.co.uk/
