Kent-based family sausage manufacturer crowned Best Frozen Sausage for the second year running

Kent-based, family-run sausage manufacturer Korker Sausages is celebrating another outstanding achievement after being crowned Best Frozen Sausage at UK Sausage Week 2026, marking the company’s second consecutive win in the category.

The award-winning Cranberry & Stilton Sausages secured the prestigious title for the second year running, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to producing high-quality British sausages and showcasing the excellence of frozen food.

Made using dried cranberries and Stilton crumb, the winning sausages combine a balance of sweet and savoury flavours, offering a distinctive product particularly suited to the festive season.

Established in 1959 by Jim Hoad, Korker Sausages has remained in the Kent village of Rolvenden for over 65 years. Now in its third generation of family ownership, the business continues to combine traditional sausage-making methods with product innovation, supplying independent retailers, wholesalers and foodservice customers across the UK.

The latest award adds to a growing collection of industry recognition for the business, including multiple Highly Commended accolades at the 2026 Meat Management Industry Awards and Food Management Today Awards.
