LINEAGE LOGISTICS EMPLOYEE CROWNED COLD STORE MANAGER OF THE YEAR

Dave Mayne, UK Operations Manager at Lineage Logistics, receives his award

Dave Mayne, UK Operations Manager at integrated logistics provider Lineage Logistics, formerly Partner Logistics, has been named ‘Cold Store Manager of the Year’ at the recent 2017 TCS&D awards.

Responsible for both of Lineage Logistics’ Gloucester and Wisbech cold stores, Dave won the national award in recognition of his outstanding achievement, commitment and a steady record of excellent cold store management.

Dave took on the role of UK Operations Manager in early 2016, with overall responsibility for overseeing an operation which has a combined 1.8 million pallet movements per annum. During this time, he has played a crucial role in innovative projects which have improved services, secured new business and delivered discernible benefits to both customers and internal staff.

Dave said: “I’m very proud to receive this accolade in recognition of my skills as a cold store manager. I joined the company eight years ago and I’m delighted to have played a part in the great progress we have made over the years.”

Trevor Hudson, UK Commercial Manager, said: “Dave’s passion for his role is obvious and he has shown commitment and dedication throughout his career. He is an invaluable part of our team and this recognition is richly deserved.”

The TCS&D awards are run by TCS&D magazine and aim to recognise companies and individuals who have made a real difference in the temperature controlled storage and distribution industry. The awards were held at the RICOH arena in Coventry on the 13th September.
