Made in Britain stamp of approval for CoolKit

CoolKit has become the first UK-based fridge van convertor with the Made in Britain accolade after being visited by the body’s CEO.

The Burnley company was visited by Made in Britain CEO, John Pearce, who awarded the firm the prestigious certification.

The accreditation acknowledges companies who take pride in UK manufacturing and shouting about the industry-leading quality of their products.

Made in Britain works to unite, support and promote all manufacturers and the entire British manufacturing sector within the UK and around the world. By applying the Made in Britain marque to a product, packaging or website, consumers are reassured that the product is made in the UK.

Steve Wilkinson, Head of Operations at CoolKit, said: “We are incredibly proud to have received the Made in Britain marquee.

“CoolKit firmly believes in maintaining the consistency and reliability of our supply chain and developing products in house.

“This certification will reassure our customers that all our conversions are manufactured and installed here in the UK by our skilled members of staff, who take pride in the quality of their work.”

CoolKit, established in 2005, creates its own bespoke insulated lining kits for refrigerated vehicles and has completed nearly 7,000 conversions over the last 12 years.

Their clients benefit from fast turnaround times, high payload capabilities, with a strong, durable and robust finished product ready to serve their business needs.
