As well as delivering on standard product lines, Glen Áine Foods is recognised for its unique innovation expertise in developing original new product lines for Ireland’s biggest retailers like Aldi, Lidl and Dunnes Stores.
We mimic cultural food staples for example, from Italian culture we have created an Irish Pancetta (from pork bellies) plus an Irish Porchetta (from narrow loin of back combined with pork belly) - Italian heritage with an Irish twist plus superior quality.
With beef we have created New York Style Pastrami in barbecue/coriander flavour, beef with Horse radish, garlic or herb topside, using eye-of-round, brisket and Angus topside. Also, peppered beef using Silverside and Pimento spiced beef.
Glen Áine Foods develop products for many leading Ready-Meal manufacturers. Here our expertise and production setup offer sizeable cost reductions including energy saving. We can eliminate two CCP steps out of your process - firstly, cooking and secondly, cooling resulting in saving on compliance and labour costs.
