Qualis Trade Ltd, the supplier of chicken meat and convenience food, is a subsidiary of the successful company EU Poultry, the largest processor of high-quality chicken meat from Slovakia, an EU member state. EU Poultry supplies products to 22 European countries and Great Britain, and processes more than 40,000 tons of poultry meat annually. In 2023, it achieved sales of more than 158 million euros with strong growth in high quality. Quality testing costs thousands of euros per month, and the inspection runs here four times more often than required by EU legislation. There are regular external audits of certification authorities such as TÜV NORD and audits of business partners such as VOLATYS, Tesco Stores or METRO Cash & Carry SR. The company holds a Halal certificate and above all a certificate from SGS. The processing company defended the BRC GS for food safety certificate with excellent results. Modern production facilities employ more than 300 people.
