Oakland International Join Finalists at Global Freight Awards 2015
Family business Oakland International joined other finalists at the Global Freight Awards on Thursday, 19th November, shortlisted in the Innovation Award category.
Oakland’s sector leading Distressed Load Management Service reduces food losses for customers, loss adjusters and hauliers dealing with distressed loads, having consistently demonstrated recovery of circa 80% of product. Environmental benefits include waste product forwarded to nominated anaerobic digestion facilities/recycling centres for the generation of renewable energy.
