Paramount 21 gluten-free products certified by Coeliac UK
Frozen seafood and vegetarian foodservice supplier, Paramount 21, is proud to announce that their gluten-free range has been certified by Coeliac UK and are now licenced to carry the internationally recognised Crossed Grain symbol.
The free-from market lost it’s ‘niche’ tag long ago and the appetite for free-from shows no signs of slowing down, particularly within the gluten-free market. With demand growing and the market set to increase over the coming years, supply to the foodservice industry is still an issue. Amie Shellis, Marketing Executive of Paramount 21 says ‘being able to show the Crossed Grain symbol ensures our customers are able to trust our products.’ Research carried out by Coeliac UK found that 77% of Coeliac UK Members are more likely to buy a product with Crossed Grain symbol certification compared to a product that has not been certified by the Charity (Eating Gluten-Free survey 2014).
