Roythornes Peter SearyLeading food sector law firm Roythornes has announced the appointment of Peter Seary as a corporate partner with its corporate and commercial department.

Peter Seary will head up the mergers and acquisitions side of Roythornes’ already strong food team, which advises clients on everything from regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, workforce issues, commercial contracts to setting up producer groups and cooperatives.

Speaking about the appointment Peter Bennett, head of the food team said: “Peter is a fantastic addition to the Roythornes team – his experience, knowledge and expertise, particularly in the food sector, is incomparable.”

He has particular experience of advising on transactions in the food and manufacturing sectors and co-ordinating large UK due diligence projects for overseas clients and their advisers.
