PARTNER LOGISTICS SIGNS UP DAWN FOODS
Integrated cold store and logistics provider Partner Logistics has signed a two-year contract with global bakery supplier Dawn Foods to manage storage for their range of frozen confectionary products at its super-sized frozen food warehouse in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
Partner Logistics, who have worked with Dawn Foods at their Bergen op Zoom site in the Netherlands since 2004, will be partnering with transport provider Visbeen to provide distribution of Dawn Foods products to their UK customers which include well-known quick service restaurants, coffee shops and travel catering companies.
Dawn Foods, who were established in 1920 and have manufacturing and production facilities in eight countries across Europe, will be storing an average of 2,000 pallets of their products, which include frozen muffins, donuts and cookies, at the Wisbech warehouse with a delivery of 500 pallets every week.

Partner Logistics operate six deep-freeze facilities – two in the UK, three in the Netherlands and one in Belgium. Their Wisbech warehouse operates at -24 degrees and is the UK’s largest cold store; covering an area the size of two football pitches with a capacity of 77,000 pallets.
