As you will be aware, each week the BFFF attends a plethora of Government led forums to ensure we can keep you updated on the latest developments and to make sure that your voices are heard.
One such forum focusses on trade between Northern Ireland and Great Britain and amongst other agenda items we always have an update from Brian Dooher, the Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer at DAERA.
Each week Brian highlights recent issues they have encountered which have caused delays in exporting goods to NI. These range from missing information on documents to lack of attention to detail to documents not actually being uploaded.
To assist those wishing to export to NI, DAERA have produced a Top Tips document which we would strongly urge members have a look at, to help ensure consignment compliance.
