The Federation has received notification from Defra that the Border Operating Model has now been updated. This also includes further guidance on changes to the time table for import controls on POAO and high risk foods not of animal origin, including information on the phasing of physical checks.

The notification also includes notice of Webinars and training sessions on how to complete an IPAFFS pre-notification that will be required from 1st January 2022. They has again reiterated that pre notification of loads will be reduced to 4 hours until 1 July 2022 when it will revert to 24 hours.
